Morgan Bellows is a small, family run company based in rural South West Scotland. Rupert and Yda Morgan initially enjoyed repairing old bellows as a hobby. However, when diversification became a necessity for small farmers, we decided to make and market our own.
The design of our bellows has now benefited from forty years experience and we combine the best of the old with the best of the new. It is a team effort of local artisans, experienced in the varied skills needed for the woodwork, leatherwork and the painted finishes.
We source our materials as locally as possible but never compromise on quality. The nozzles are made in Birmingham where the Jewellery [and metal] Quarter is one of the last surviving industrial quarters in Europe. Each set of bellows is expertly crafted to become a lifelong friend.
We strive to achieve the highest standards both in the workshop and with our customer care.
Our prices are affordable and great value. Your bellows are delivered to you directly from our workshop near Lockerbie, with no shop or middleman mark up.
For club fenders, we recommend Fiona Wilbraham and Acres Farm Fenders.
If you have some favourite old bellows that no longer work, we may be able to help. We are happy to do repairs to all old and antique bellows as long as the wood is sound. The images above show a typical repair.
Morgan Bellows are keeping the home fires burning in castles and cottages from Caithness to Cornwall, as well as Europe, Australia and the USA. We are also proud to have made bellows for members of the British and European Royal families.
We hope you will choose us and look forward to hearing from you.
Yda and the Team.
